Job summary

Talented People is seeking an experienced Appliance Engineer to service, maintain and repair commercial catering equipment across customer sites in the North East. The role involves diagnosing faults, performing preventive maintenance and ensuring safe, efficient operation of appliances.

You will work independently, manage your workload, and travel to sites throughout the North East. A full UK driving licence and strong customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Appliance Engineer, Catering Engineer, White Goods Engineer or similar.
• Experience with commercial catering equipment is highly desirable.
• Good electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• A practical, hands-on approach to engineering.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• A full UK driving licence.

Salary: £32,000 per annum + Door-to-Door Overtime

We are looking for an experienced Appliance Engineer to join our team in the North East, working on a wide range of commercial catering equipment across customer sites.

The Role

As an Appliance Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial catering equipment at customer premises.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Attending customer sites to diagnose and repair equipment
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and servicing
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Repairing and maintaining a range of commercial catering appliances
• Ensuring equipment is safe, compliant and operating efficiently
