3 Sixty Resourcing is seeking a Commercial Catering Engineer to cover the Hampshire area. Salary £40,000-£45,000 per annum, plus £12,000 bonus, overtime, a company van and an 18% pension.

This is a full-time, permanent role with excellent benefits and career prospects. You will service and repair commercial catering equipment, diagnose electrical faults, read wiring diagrams, perform planned maintenance and installations, and maintain accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

Commercial catering engineer experience.
Electrical experience with relevant certifications (18th/17th edition etc.)
Gas qualifications advantageous but not essential.
Fault finding on electrical equipment is essential.
Able to read electrical wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

Carry out repairs and servicing of catering equipment.
Planned contract maintenance and repairs.
Warranty checks and repairs.
Installations of new equipment when required.
Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions.
Manage van stock and order spare parts as needed.
Complete paperwork and use PDA timesheets.
Attend meetings and training courses as required.
Maintain good customer relations and maximise sales opportunities.

Our client is a market leading company that specialises in the manufacturing and supply of commercial catering equipment. The company focuses and prides themselves on creating innovative solutions for their customers which makes them the best at what they do!

Covering the Hampshire area, you will be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager to deliver expected levels of service to the region's customers. You will provide technical, maintenance and repair services for a broad range of catering equipment such as dishwashers, ware-washers, ovens, mixing machines, food, and beverage preparation etc.

The ideal candidate will have a commercial catering engineer background with the ability to carry out electrical fault finding and diagnostics.

What's involved for the Commercial Catering Engineer

To carry out repairs and servicing
Planned contract maintenance and repairs

To correctly diagnose faults and ensure the most effective solution.
Manage van stock effectively and to order and account for spare parts as necessary.
Complete all associated paperwork
Use electronic timesheets on PDA device keeping an accurate log of working time, time in transit, on and offsite.
Attend meetings and training courses that may be required when necessary.
Maintain good customer relations and maximising sales opportunities whenever appropriate.
