Job summary

VodafoneThree is seeking an API Platform Solution Architect to shape the future of our digital architecture and API strategy. You will collaborate with architecture, engineering and product teams to define best practices, drive platform direction, and ensure secure, scalable, high-performing experiences.

You will guide solution architects, review designs, and champion reuse of platform capabilities while aligning with long-term goals.

Qualifications

• Designing and delivering cloud-native APIs for large-scale platforms.
• Experience with microservices and scalable API design.
• Strong RESTful API knowledge and secure access patterns.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve API platform strategy, architecture patterns and standards.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to shape roadmaps and designs.
• Guide solution architects on complex API platform enhancements and decisions.
• Review designs for alignment with target state architecture and goals.
• Promote simplicity, scalability and cost-efficiency by reusing platform capabilities.
• Work with engineering to ensure performance, security and availability.
