Your new company

They are seeking an AP Specialist to support their Financial Controller in a fast-paced, broad, and busy role.

Your new role
As the AP Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the Financial Controller with daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Ensuring accurate and timely general ledger bank entries and invoice processing.
2. Responding promptly to supplier queries and maintaining good working relationships.
3. Handling period-end accounting tasks, including closing the ledger and preparing necessary reconciliations to the general ledger.
4. Managing aged creditor reporting and analysis.
5. Preparing weekly payment runs.
6. Assisting with additional ad-hoc tasks related to other parts of the finance function, including projects and process improvements.
