Job summary

Quanex is seeking an AP/AR Assistant to join our finance team in Denby, UK. You will support both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.

This permanent, full-time role reports to the Finance Director. Monday to Friday, with hybrid working after training, is offered along with a company pension, EAP, on-site parking and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, Outlook and Word.
• GCSEs in English and maths (C/4 or higher).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and payments.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and obtain approvals.
• Carry out supplier and customer reconciliations and statements.
• Support weekly and monthly payment runs and daily bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records across AP/AR.
