Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 3 Administrator to coordinate patients under Cardiothoracic surveillance and treatment for aortic aneurysms. The post holder will work with the aortic MDT and manage surveillance pathways, appointments and escalation to surgery.

The role involves secretarial support, diary coordination, data entry and effective communication with patients, teams and stakeholders, ensuring efficient service delivery within a busy hospital

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage multiple admin tasks in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with diary management, data entry and typing.
• Ability to communicate sensitively with patients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patients on surveillance pathway and track readiness for imaging.
• Attend and minute MDT meetings and maintain action lists.
• Provide secretarial support to the Consultant Anaesthetic workforce.
• Maintain filing systems and produce regular information reports.
