Job summary

Bombardier’s London Service Centre at Biggin Hill seeks a diligent Material Handler to manage goods receipt, inspection, inventory control and material issuance for aircraft maintenance operations. The role requires strong attention to documentation, calibration tracking and safe handling of parts and tools.

Candidates should have aviation/materials experience, a valid driver's license and the ability to multi-task under pressure.

Qualifications

• Experience in aviation or material/parts environment preferred.
• Goods-In approval experience desirable.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task across competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to maintenance procedures and safety rules.
• Receive, inspect and document incoming materials and tools.
• Enter tooling into inventory and ensure proper labelling/Storage.
• Ensure certificates are filed and material traceability is maintained.
• Issue approved parts and tooling to maintenance with proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and perpetual systems.
• Monitor tooling calibration and prevent expiry.
• Assist with shipping/receiving and abnormal goods handling.
