Freshfields is seeking an Antitrust Litigation Associate to join its competition litigation team in London. The role involves working on cartel damages, abuse of dominance, collective proceedings, and class actions within UK courts and the Competition Appeal Tribunal.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer in England & Wales or a common law jurisdiction, with 2-4 PQE, and strong technical and commercial abilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer in England & Wales or another common law jurisdiction.
• Ideally 2-4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Strong technical and commercial abilities with top-class academics.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and supervise more junior lawyers and trainees.

Responsabilités

• Draft complex witness statements, expert reports, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Run project processes on significant cases and work towards acting as lead associate.
• Collaborate closely with leading barristers, economists, and expert witnesses.
• Manage document reviews, disclosure projects, and attend mediation or settlement discussions.
• Participate in business development activities and mentor junior associates and trainees.
