Job description

Here at Stonewater, we are seeking Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Caseworkers – someone to take ownership of casework from start to finish, ensuring our ASB Customer Commitments are understood and delivered. This is an exciting new role within our Customer Experience (CX) directorate. The role is predominantly remote, so your location isn’t the most important thing to us. However, we’re particularly keen to recruit to support our operational delivery in the following areas:

  • Herefordshire
  • Leicestershire
  • Bristol
  • Somerset
  • Wiltshire
  • Thames Valley
  • Hampshire
  • Dorset
  • South Yorkshire
  • Nottinghamshire

You’ll provide customers with an efficient journey that delivers resolution and next steps, demonstrating sophisticated influencing and negotiation skills. You’ll prepare and present cases at court to an excellent standard. You’ll be responsive to changing customer needs and show compassion, managing challenging conversations with customers experiencing hate crime, domestic abuse, trauma, complex financial issues, and other challenging circumstances.

Collaboration with our partners in the Police, Local Authority, Mental Health Services, as well as external mediation and legal services, is essential to the role’s success.

Legal action is often a last resort, and we aim to find creative solutions to resolve cases. When legal action is necessary, you’ll prepare and present legal cases in court, ideally having experience in this area. You’ll work closely with external legal partners to ensure the best outcomes.

We will provide comprehensive training to equip our ASB Caseworkers to achieve the best results for our customers. The role requires travel to court hearings and visits to customers and communities as needed. As part of a national team, you’ll participate in duty processes to triage cases effectively.

You will use data and behavioral insights to propose service innovations and actively participate in delivering change. You’ll be committed to developing your professional knowledge in ASB and building customer confidence in digital channels, demonstrating a personal commitment to using new digital tools for excellent service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience managing anti-social behaviour cases.
  • Experience developing and working with external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of relevant laws and legislation around housing, ASB, and safeguarding.
  • Experience using a harm-based approach to ASB triage.
  • Experience safeguarding and managing cases involving individuals with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate positively.
  • Skills in adopting digital solutions and delivering change.
  • Experience in partnership working with multi-agency teams.
  • Experience preparing case files for court and presenting in civil or criminal courts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to find innovative solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a complex caseload.
  • Experience with mediation or conflict resolution services.

Appointment is subject to a satisfactory DBS check, references, and valid Right to Work documentation.
