Job summary

George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust in Nuneaton is seeking an Antenatal and Newborn Screening Failsafe Officer on a fixed-term contract. The role is 37.5 hours per week, Band 3, for 12 months, with an annual salary of £25,760 to £27,476.

The role supports data collation for screening programmes, maintains audit trails and KPI data, and requires strong communication with diverse healthcare professionals. Immediate application encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Support the antenatal and newborn screening co-ordinator in the collation and entry of data for the antenatal and newborn screening programmes, infectious diseases in pregnancy, Down's syndrome screening and Fetal Anomaly Screening, Haemoglobinopathy screening and Newborn Infant Physical Examination and Newborn Bloodspot screening.
• Communicate with other professionals involved in the screening process, participate in meetings, take minutes, prepare teaching materials and disseminate performance management letters.
