Job summary

Moonbug Entertainment in London is seeking an ambitious Animation Enthusiast to join our production team. You will research, test, and implement cutting-edge visual tools and modern pipelines to empower creatives and bridge storytelling with technology.

You’ll collaborate with animators, VFX artists, and tech leads, contribute to asset pipelines, and help elevate our high-volume production standards while exploring innovative workflows in a fast-moving, global studio.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Animation or related field.
• Strong understanding of core animation principles and digital asset creation.
• Hands-on experience with Blender, Maya, Toon Boom Harmony, Unreal Engine, or Adobe CC.
• Interest in modern software solutions and procedural workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and rapid learning of new toolsets.
• Excellent communication to explain concepts to non-technical teams.
• Experience in the kids’ entertainment sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support emerging workflows by testing and implementing novel digital tools and pipeline enhancements.
• Collaborate with artists, animators, and technical leaders to research new methods for asset generation and look development.
• Run structured experiments with emerging software, noting visual quality and processing speed.
• Document pipeline discoveries and present findings to creative and technical teams.
• Contribute to creative brainstorms with ideas on how tools can elevate storytelling and visuals.
• Help maintain asset management and pipeline organization while upholding quality standards.
