Overview

Haven Kent Coast — formerly Allhallows — is situated on the Hoo Peninsula along the Thames estuary, offering the closest sandy beach to central London. Address: Allhallows-on-Sea, Near Rochester, Kent ME3 9QD GBR.

Position: Animation Host

Type: Full Time / Seasonal, fortnightly-paid, PAYE contract

Pay Rates: £12.21 per hour (before accommodation, tax and national insurance deductions)

Start dates vary depending on role. The contract ends November 2025.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of daytime and evening events.
• Performing as an Actor within Haven’s interactive adventure show, “Dinosaur Explorers”.
• Performing as a costume animator/actor within Haven’s “Seaside Squad” events.
• Performing as an actor/puppeteer within Haven’s puppet show similar to Avenue Q.
• Light entertainment duties including tech, meet & greets and guest interaction.
• Supporting photoshoots & PR exercises as required.
• Supporting in the delivery of owner/charity events as needed.

Requirements

• Training and support will be provided to ensure you are proficient in your role.
• Keen interest in entertainment and a desire to develop skills within the industry.
• Confidence and the ability to engage with guests of all ages is essential.
• Basic dancing, presenting and animation skills are desirable.
• Cast members are required to work 6 days per week; hours will include evenings and weekends. Working hours are approximately 39 hours per week.
• Right to work documentation to confirm applicants are 18+ and can legally work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check required prior to starting work.
