Job summary

The University of Liverpool is seeking a part-time Animal Care Assistant to join the clinical team at the Liverpool Campus Veterinary Practice. You will be part of the animal care team and provide support to clinicians, assisting in the care of hospitalised patients and during theatre procedures.

Applicants should have a BTEC First level (or equivalent) and a Level 2 qualification in Animal Care, with relevant experience.

• Educated to BTEC First level (or equivalent) and have level 2 qualification in Animal Care, with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in caring for hospitalised patients in the university veterinary hospital.
• Support in theatre procedures as required by the clinical team.
• Help with day-to-day tasks and patient welfare in the practice.

Hours of work: Part-time – 14 hours per week

This post is based at the University Veterinary Practice at the Liverpool Campus. This is an exciting opportunity to join the clinical team in our busy state-of-the-art-Practice.
