Job summary

The University Veterinary Practice at the Liverpool Campus is seeking an Animal Care Technician – Grade 2 to join our clinical team in a busy, state-of-the-art practice.

You will assist in caring for hospitalised patients, support theatre procedures, and help with day-to-day tasks to ensure high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Requires BTEC First level (or equivalent) and Level 2 in Animal Care with relevant experience.
• Demonstrates ability to assist in clinical care and support to a veterinary team.

Hours of work: Part-time – 14 hours per week

This post is based at the University Veterinary Practice at the Liverpool Campus. This is an exciting opportunity to join the clinical team in our busy state-of-the-art-Practice. You will be part of the animal care team and will be responsible for providing support to the clinical team. You will assist in the care of the hospitalised patients, theatre procedures, and other tasks.

You should be educated to BTEC First level (or equivalent) and have level 2 qualification in Animal Care, with relevant experience.
