Job summary

Blue Light Card is seeking an Android developer to join a newly established cross-functional team. You will help replatform to a modern, serverless environment and contribute to greenfield mobile projects that enhance the member experience.

You will build intuitive apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, collaborate with product, design and backend engineers, and participate in code reviews to uphold high standards. Hybrid work with a focus on delivering impactful features.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Kotlin and building modern UI with Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with KMM for shared business logic.
• Familiarity with CI/CD using GitHub Actions and app monitoring with Firebase Crashlytics.

Responsibilities

• Build mobile applications with readable, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and backend engineers to deliver features.
• Write and maintain unit tests and UI tests; optimize performance and bug fixes.
• Support automated build, test and deployment processes for rapid release cycles.
• Document technical requirements and decisions to maintain a clear knowledge base.
