Job summary

Motorway is seeking a Backend Engineer to help build and scale our JavaScript stack. You will develop and maintain features, work with Node.js, Express, Sequelize, and our AWS infrastructure, and collaborate with product and design teams to deliver fast, reliable experiences for sellers and dealers.

You should be comfortable in a collaborative, agile environment, write clean code, participate in testing and reviews, and contribute to performance improvements and caching as the platform grows.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience with JavaScript, including ES6/7 features.
• Experience with Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express, Sequelize).
• Experience working with relational databases and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of web design patterns.
• Experience working in a collaborative, agile team environment.

Responsibilities
