Job summary

Jobtailor in London is seeking an experienced Android developer to contribute to a fast-paced app and internal tooling. You will own features from concept to production, collaborate with designers and iOS engineers, and help build SDKs for international clients.

You will focus on security, accessibility, clean code, and robust testing with Espresso and JUnit, while shipping reliable code from day one and sharing knowledge across teams.

Requirements

• Ability to understand and prioritise security across all application layers

• Self-driven approach and ownership of code, shipping, maintenance, and processes
• Experience or understanding of Android libraries and technologies including Dagger, Realm, Retrofit, Coil, Compose, Coroutines, XML layouts, and RxJava2
• Experience with Espresso for UI/E2E testing
• Experience with JUnit for unit testingAbility to manually test features before production
• Ability to work closely with QA engineers on complex feature delivery
• Understanding of a wide range of Android libraries and technologies
• Experience maintaining a library, contributing to open-source software, or working with internationalisation is desirable but not required
• Willingness to collaborate across teams and share knowledge
