Job summary

Cathcart Technology in Oldham is seeking an Android Developer to join its software team. The role is hybrid with three days onsite per week, focusing on a new Android-based payment product and integration with hardware and payment devices.

You will work on production-grade Android applications, ensure testing and development practices, and collaborate with a team of engineers across software and firmware to bring the product to commercial use.

Qualifications

• Around 2-5 years’ commercial Android development experience.
• Experience building production Android applications.
• Strong understanding of the Android ecosystem and modern development practices.
• Experience integrating applications with APIs, external services or devices.
• An understanding of testing and how to build reliable commercial Android applications.
