Job summary

Pracyva is seeking an Android developer in the United Kingdom to join a team focused on building robust mobile experiences. The role requires strong Kotlin/Java skills, deep knowledge of the Android SDK, and solid experience with MVVM/MVI patterns and Jetpack components.

You will work with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning to deliver responsive apps. You'll contribute to open-source Android ecosystem libraries, apply modern UI principles, and follow Google's design guidelines

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Kotlin/Java and Android SDK.
• Strong understanding of Android UI design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Android open-source libraries for common tasks.

What we need from you / essential skills & experience:

• Excellent knowledge of Kotlin/Java.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Awesome knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks and benchmarking and optimisation
• Proficient in Google's Android design principles, interface guidelines and code versioning tools, such as Git
• Applying SOLID Principles
• MVVM/MVI architecture, Android Architecture Components and other Jetpack libraries
