Job summary

The University of Nottingham's School of Life Sciences seeks an Anatomy Technical Team member to support the Anatomy Suite facilities, preparing and overseeing practical anatomy classes and handling cadaveric specimens. You will maintain teaching resources and IT equipment and ensure compliance with the Human Tissue Act.

Two permanent positions are available: full-time (36.25 hours) or part-time (26 hours), with potential job share. UK-based applicants with right to work are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a relevant role.
• Strong organisational abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in IT.
• Understanding of the Human Tissue Act (2004).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee practical anatomy classes.
• Handle, move, and care for human cadaveric specimens.
• Maintain teaching resources such as anatomical models and IT equipment.
• Support daily operation and upkeep of the Anatomy Suite.
• Ensure accurate and compliant documentation in line with regulations.
