Islington Working is looking for an Anatomical Teaching Prosector in Tooting. The ideal candidate will manage and maintain human material, including cadavers and anatomical specimens, used in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Duties
  • We are currently seeking a talented individual to take the lead role for the provision, preparation, management, and maintenance of human material, including cadavers, prosections, plastinated & potted specimens used in anatomy teaching across a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the Anatomy Section.
  • Furthermore, you will contribute to the practical teaching of anatomy within the AS at City St George’s for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • You will have previous knowledge and experience in human anatomy and cadaveric dissection and, ideally, experience in specimen potting.
  • You will have a proven track record of preparing and maintaining anatomical specimens for teaching; and ideally will have experience of teaching/demonstrating anatomy.
  • Alongside this you will be highly organised, methodical, computer-literate, and able to communicate effectively with academic staff, students, and fellow support staff.
