Job summary

Brighton and Sussex Medical School seeks an Anatomy Facility Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality technical services in anatomy, overseeing daily operations of the Anatomy Facility to support teaching and research. You will ensure compliant, efficient services and drive continuous improvement.

You will line-manage a technical team, develop training plans, SOPs, and risk assessments, and explore income generation and partnerships while maintaining strong health and safety standards across

Qualifications

• Degree level (Level 6) or equivalent required.
• Strong practical knowledge of anatomical facilities and techniques.
• Experience in management and data handling is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to present policies to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of high-quality technical services in anatomy.
• Oversee daily operations of the Anatomy Facility.
• Line-manage the technical team and develop training plans.
• Develop strategies for income generation and industry partnerships.
• Ensure safety compliance and update documentation, SOPs and risk assessments.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and contribute to health and safety committees.
