This is a Temporary, Full Time vacancy that will close in 7 hours at 23:59 BST.

The Vacancy

This is a 6-month Fixed term contract.

ASK4 is embarking on an exciting transformation, building and implementing a cutting-edge Anaplan solution to enhance our FP&A capabilities across the ASK4 Group. With a planned go-live in June 2025, this is your opportunity to join us at a pivotal moment and help drive innovation from the ground up.

Led by expert external consultants, this project is a collaborative effort with our Commercial Finance team, including two internal colleagues currently training as Anaplan Model Builders. The new system will replace our current Excel-based tools, delivering significant benefits such as automation, improved efficiency, and deeper business insights.

We’re looking for someone who thrives on turning ideas into impactful solutions — someone who sees the bigger picture, enjoys working in a dynamic environment, and takes pride in seeing their work make a real difference.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and efficient Anaplan models that support critical FP&A processes.
2. Manage new modelling requirements and incremental user stories as they arise after the initial build.
3. Maximise ROI on Ask4’s investment in Anaplan by ensuring its full potential is realised.
4. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to gather, define, and document system requirements.
5. Provide hands-on, solutions-focused Anaplan modelling support throughout the FY26 budget cycle.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during Anaplan’s first use in live budget scenarios.
7. Take ownership of designing and integrating new models, including those driven by acquisitions, factoring in data architecture and consolidated output needs.
8. Lead on testing, training, and documentation to ensure smooth deployments and confident users.
9. Provide post-implementation support, driving continuous improvement and system optimisation.

Our ideal candidate will:

1. Extensive hands-on experience in Anaplan model building, including formulas, modules, dashboards, and reporting.
2. Solid understanding of Anaplan best practices for design, performance, and governance.
3. Experience supporting FP&A processes, with a focus on integrated P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow models.
4. Skilled at translating business needs into scalable, user-friendly models.
5. Proven ability to integrate data from external systems (ERP, CRM, accounting platforms etc.) into Anaplan.
6. Organised and adaptable, able to flex plans based on shifting priorities.
7. Collaborative, approachable, and comfortable offering challenge when needed.
8. Passionate about continuous improvement and contributing to a positive team culture.
9. Good understanding of core accounting principles (accounting qualification is preferable).
