Job description

About the Role:

We're on the lookout for an experienced Analytics Lead to shape and drive our analytics strategy. At Suvera, our technology team is structured into two key areas: Platform Engineering (product and data engineering) and Analytics (dataandclinical analytics). This role will lead the Analytics function, working closely with Platform Engineering to ensure data flows smoothly across systems and teams. In the future, it will also own our data science initiatives.

You’ll play a pivotal role in connecting business needs with technical implementation—helping Suvera scale its data capabilities, foster a data-driven culture, and improve outcomes for patients and clinicians alike. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a high-impact area, lead a growing team, and evolve into broader leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced healthtech startup.

This position reports to the Technical Director and offers a salary of £80k - £100k, depending on experience and qualifications (excluding equity package).

About Suvera:

Suvera is transforming healthcare with a mission to keep people in good health, wherever they are. Partnering with UK general practices, we deliver a virtual clinic that supports patients with long-term conditions. Currently, we manage over 100,000 patients. Our ambitions are global, and we’re just getting started.

Our advisors include luminaries likeProfessor Bryan Williams,a leader in high blood pressure research and guidelines in the UK. We are a diverse team of about 60 people, including clinicians, care advisors, and experts across various disciplines.

Backed by Google for StartupsandMorningside Ventures,Suvera is poised to become a global leader in healthcare.

What you'll be doing:

As Analytics Lead, you will:

  • Optimise the Analytics Stack: Own and evolve our analytics tools—Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, Mixpanel, and Omni—ensuring they're scalable and enable self-serve data access across Suvera. You'll build a forward-looking roadmap that empowers our analytics team and supports self-serve access to data across the business.
  • Transform data into insight: Lead the team in building robust dbt/Snowflake pipelines that transform raw data into actionable metrics. You'll help drive strategic analysis, case studies, and reporting that informs both internal decisions and external partners.
  • Stay hands-on: We expect roughly 60% of your time will be focused on strategy, team management, and cross-functional leadership—with the remaining 40% dedicated to hands-on contribution. You’ll be a key point of contact for urgent requests and stay close to the team’s day-to-day work.
  • Collaborate with platform engineering: Ensure analytics needs are built into the product from day one. We believe in pushing data ingestion as far left as possible so most external data sources are loaded into our application database before being replicated to the warehouse. We also centralise complex application logic as materialised views in the application database - this avoids duplication and reduces data inconsistencies! Though not directly responsible for these areas, you will provide valuable input.
  • Empower and Inspire: Coach and mentor direct reports and support others across the business. You’ll help shape team culture, improve processes, and guide the technical direction of Suvera’s data platform—leading by example and setting a high bar for quality and collaboration.
We're looking for someone who:

Should have:

  • Has lead analytics in a startup or scale-up environment
  • Brings 4+ years of experience with modern data tools, bonus if you’ve worked with our stack before (Fivetran, Snowflake, DBT, Mixpanel and Omni)
  • Builds scalable, secure and reliable analytics infrastructure
  • Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Excellent problem solving skills and a proactive positive approach to challenges and change
  • Proven ability to mentor, support, and inspire team members
  • Passionate about developing products with a meaningful impact on people’s lives
  • Excited by the opportunity of in-office collaboration at least once a week - we are remote-first but team-focused

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with MongoDB or healthcare data systems
About our culture:

We prioritise inclusion, wellness, and flexibility. With 40 days of annual leave, a remote-first approach, and a non-hierarchical culture, we enable our team to thrive. Our async communication style ensures efficient workflows, and our policies support autonomy and work-life balance.

Perks

Team: A diverse, collaborative environment with strong clinical leadership and a supportive team culture.

Finance: Enhanced parental pay, equipment and education budgets, and matched pension contributions (5% employer).

Wellbeing: Annual wellbeing budget, financial advice, mental health support, and therapy sessions.

Flexibility: 40 days of annual leave, work from anywhere in the UK, and protected no-meeting times.

Join us in shaping the future of healthcare and growing your leadership career in a fast-paced, impactful environment.
