Job summary

Dojo is transforming payments in the UK and seeking an Analytics Engineer to own analytical engineering workstreams, delivering high-quality data products and reusable standards across the data ecosystem. You will build scalable pipelines and dashboards, collaborating with the Partnerships and Sales teams to unlock business value.

You will work hands-on with BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Airbyte, Fivetran, and Python to automate workflows, ensure data quality, and operationalise analytical solutions

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience building models with dbt.
• Experience with cloud data warehousing (BigQuery) and BI platforms (Looker).
• Familiarity with orchestration systems like Airflow and ingestion tools like Airbyte or Fivetran.
• Practical Python skills for automation and testing.
• Independent judgment regarding data quality and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Own analytics engineering work stream end to end, transforming stakeholder needs into robust data products.
• Build performant data pipelines in BigQuery using dbt, and design insightful data visualisation
• Develop scalable, performant, and reliable pipeline orchestrations using Airflow, dbt, Airbyte, and Fivetran.
• Use Python to automate workflows, validate data quality, and streamline analytical operations.
• Contribute to shared standards, design reusable metrics, and actively pay down technical debt to keep our platform healthy.
• Leverage AI tools responsibly to accelerate modelling, testing, and documentation without losing technical ownership.
