Job summary

Forge Holiday Group is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the Data team and deliver scalable analytics solutions. You will design data models, build ELT pipelines in Microsoft Fabric, and create impactful dashboards with Power BI to empower data-driven decisions.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality analytics products, collaborating with stakeholders, and continuously improving data platforms across the business. Hybrid and flexible working options are available.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience building ELT pipelines in Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong SQL and T-SQL skills.
• Basic to intermediate Python skills.
• Experience developing and managing analytics and BI solutions.
• Knowledge of dimensional modelling, star schemas and semantic models.
• Strong Power BI capabilities, including DAX and performance optimisation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable data models that power business insights.
• Build, maintain and optimise ELT pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop impactful dashboards, reports and analytics products using Power BI.
• Enhance existing data products and data pipelines to improve performance and reliability.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to champion data-driven decision making.
• Apply data storytelling and visualisation best practices to create actionable insights.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues.
• Contribute to squad initiatives aligned to business objectives.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to deliver meaningful outcomes.
• Support the ongoing evolution of Forge's modern data platform.
