Job summary

Funding Circle in London is seeking an Analytics Engineer to help shape data foundations for high growth areas. You will build and own dbt models, collaborating with Analysts and Data Scientists to drive insights and decisions.

You will champion best practices in data modelling, transformation and governance, and advise on the evolving data platform, tooling, and infrastructure to enable best-in-class analytics. This role offers hybrid work and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

Strong SQL skills and well-structured query writing.
Hands-on experience with DBT and modular data models.
Solid understanding of dimensional modelling concepts.
Familiarity with AWS data services (S3, Athena, Glue) and data warehousing.

Responsibilities

Build and own high quality dbt models, ensuring they are performant, well documented and tested.
Collaborate with Analysts and Data Scientists to translate needs into models that drive insights and decisions.
Champion best practices for data modelling, transformation, and governance within the team and across the business.
Advise on evolving data platform tooling, infrastructure and practices for best-in-class Analytics Engineering.
