Job summary

Burberry in London is seeking an Analytics Engineer to design, build and maintain enterprise dashboards and reports. You will translate business needs into robust analytics, using Tableau and Databricks SQL, with strong design, performance and security considerations.

You will collaborate with Data Product Managers, Data Engineers and stakeholders to deliver reusable reporting components, certified datasets and self-serve analytics foundations across Burberry.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering enterprise dashboards, reports and visualisations.
• Experience in a mid-level engineering role, owning reporting outputs.
• Strong Tableau proficiency: dashboards, calculations, permissions and performance.
• SQL and cloud data platforms experience, e.g. Databricks SQL or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain enterprise reports, dashboards and visualisations.
• Translate business requirements into robust reporting outputs.
• Develop high-quality visual designs for dashboards and reports.
• Implement KPI calculations and reusable metrics across aggregations.
• Document KPI logic, data sources and business definitions.
• Collaborate with Data Product Managers and Data Engineers.
• Apply reporting security and privacy controls.
• Support user acceptance testing and resolve defects.
• Optimize dashboard performance and publishing processes.
• Contribute to reusable reporting assets and self-serve components.
• Maintain documentation for report specifications and data lineage.
