Job summary

Hitachi Solutions UK is expanding its Analytics practice in the UK and is seeking an experienced Analytics Architect to join the team. You will deliver bespoke analytics solutions, guiding clients on BI strategy and data engineering best practices.

In this role you will work with major UK clients, shaping analytics architectures, data warehousing and integration designs, and mentoring junior consultants while contributing to bids and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of business intelligence applications and analytics.
• Strong consulting experience.
• Experience developing customised solutions to complex business problems.
• Strong working knowledge of solution and integration design.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• A logical approach to problem solving and the structured introduction of change into operational systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to maximise returns on their Analytics investment.
• Develop long lasting and high-quality business relationships with clients by instilling trust and confidence.
• Work directly with clients to understand their business strategy, programme requirements & processes.
• Demonstrate the future state solution enactment of the articulated programme strategy in the context of data and analytics & related applications and technologies.
• Utilise specialist knowledge of analytics, data warehousing and data engineering to support the development and expansion of the solution footprint to meet clients’ articulated business strategy.
• Providing solution demonstrations and contribute effectively on new bid work.
• Developing original approaches to improve or replace existing processes and procedures.
• Documenting the Programme Solution Design.
• Supporting Lead Consultants in their review of functional & technical specifications for clients of high complexity and quality.
• Guiding Client Programme Directors & Project Managers and keeping them informed.
• Sharing knowledge with other project team members or other Hitachi Solutions consultants.
• Develop direct reports’ and team members’ soft skills and support their career development for succession planning.
• Execute assigned responsibilities in a manner consistent with Hitachi Solution Europe Ltd.’s Quality Management Policy.

This is a unique and challenging opportunity for an experienced Analytics Consultant to join the Analytics practice of Hitachi Solutions Europe.

In this role you will be providing bespoke and cutting edge advanced analytics solutions, bringing significant commercial advantage to some of the UK’s most recognised companies.

The successful candidate will draw upon their experience with business intelligence tools and techniques and to advise clients on analytics best practices and deliver analytics capability on time and to budget.
