Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions in East Leake is seeking a Project Leader to drive multiple analytical and innovation projects within our Central R&D Innovation Centre.

You will lead cross-functional teams, translate complex data into actionable insights, and partner with global colleagues to shape gypsum technologies.

This role blends hands-on science with project leadership, offering opportunities to influence product development and manufacturing solutions worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Chemistry, Materials Science, Analytical Science or a related scientific discipline.
  • Experience working in an analytical laboratory environment using techniques like XRF, XRD, TGA, microscopy, SEM/EDX or similar instruments.
  • Proven experience leading technical investigations, method development or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across functions and global locations.
  • Curious and proactive, able to derive insights from data and drive solutions to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and delivering multiple analytical and innovation projects supporting product development and customer requirements.
  • Developing and improving analytical development methods to support gypsum-based solutions.
  • Interpreting analytical data and translating findings into actionable recommendations for R&D and manufacturing teams.
  • Acting as a key technical partner to global project teams, providing specialist analytical expertise across Saint-Gobain's gypsum businesses.
  • Building strong relationships across international R&D networks to share knowledge and solve complex technical challenges.
