Intertek in Melbourn, Cambridgeshire, is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join the Technical Team. This early-career role offers hands-on laboratory work, exposure to multiple analytical techniques, and the opportunity to develop analytical and problem-solving skills in a regulated environment.

You will prepare and analyse samples, follow SOPs, generate high-quality data, and contribute to client projects while working alongside experienced scientists.

Competenze

• Degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
• Practical laboratory experience gained through industry, placement year, postgraduate study, or academic projects.
• Understanding of analytical laboratory practices and scientific principles.
• Ability to follow established methods and procedures with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively.
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work safely and effectively within a quality-focused laboratory environment.
