TD Securities in Belfast, United Kingdom is seeking a senior post-settlement operations professional to oversee daily activities across multiple asset classes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to service level agreements.
You will lead the cash and depot reconciliation processes, investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, and act as the primary escalation point for complex issues with internal stakeholders, custodians, and technology teams.

Identify opportunities to improve service delivery Maintain working relationships with customers by resolving customer issues and articulating business processes to respond to customer queries Refer or escape processing or operational issues as needed based on a solid understanding of the issue, connecting with the appropriate function/partner to facilitate resolution and ensure that service quality is maintained
Support the timely and accurate completion of business processes Actively review internal processes/activities and provide ideas for process improvement Investigate and escape non-standard or high-risk activities as appropriate Prioritize and manage own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity
Oversee daily post-settlement operational activities across multiple asset classes, ensuring processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established service level agreements. Manage the team's completion of cash and depot reconciliations, ensuring timely investigation, resolution, and reporting of reconciliation breaks and exceptions. Act as the primary escalation point for complex post-settlement issues, driving resolution with internal stakeholders, custodians, counterparties, technology, and support teams as required. Monitor operational risk and control effectiveness by reviewing outstanding exceptions, aged breaks, and key performance metrics, escalating material issues where appropriate. Provide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to team members, supporting their development and ensuring adherence to procedures, controls, and regulatory requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance reconciliation controls, automate manual processes, improve efficiency, and reduce operational risk. Produce and present management information on reconciliation performance, outstanding exceptions, service delivery, and operational risk to senior management
