Job summary

ALS Limited in Coventry is seeking a Laboratory Analyst Grade 1 to support the General Microbiology department. The role requires following procedures, accurate testing and recording of results, with a keen eye for detail and ability to follow instructions.

The 37-hour week runs Tuesday to Saturday, 07:00-15:00. The position is full-time and permanent, offering a salary of £25,878 per year and a benefits package including holiday allowance and pension.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Science, Maths and English.
• Light microscopy experience is essential.
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures precisely.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and ensure samples are tested per procedures.
