Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
As part of the Product Analytics & Experimentation team, we support a data-driven and results-focused product organization. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of product analytics, data science, product development and business understanding. The candidate will have a technical curiosity, analytical and product background with strong communication skills and the ability to inform strategy and influence decisions that make an impact in the organization.
The candidate will be an analytics partner for the Now organization, focused on acquisition, engagement and retention analysis to drive business impact. They will collaborate across product, engineering, business and other experts to execute on the organization's strategic vision. The individual will develop and execute an analytics strategy, translating insights into actionable decisions throughout the entire product lifecycle.
They will partner with core product and business stakeholders, responsible for owning and delivering the data and metrics that drive core business decisions on the product direction and features as well as partnering with other data and decision science teams to share best practices and improve capabilities around data modeling, instrumentation, analytics frameworks, and self-service analytics tooling.
