Job Description

As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of forward-looking financial and business-related projects. You will prepare financial forecasts and reports, providing analytical support for an assigned area. Your role involves identifying trends, developing insights, and presenting findings to management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial forecasts, analyses, and reports for the management team of the assigned business unit.
• Support the development of the unit’s annual budget, track and analyze variances throughout the year.
• Monitor progress toward objectives.
• Provide analyses and recommendations based on financial data and other relevant information.
• Collaborate with business managers to prepare sales commission documents and track results.
• Identify issues, suggest courses of action, and recommend improvements for operations and resource allocation.
• Work closely with corporate and business unit resources to enhance standardization and implement best practices.
• Support and oversee the implementation of operational improvements.
• Serve as the point of contact for corporate finance regarding the assigned business unit(s).
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of financial analysis experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP, financial statements, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
• Strong business acumen and practical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into understandable insights.
• Effective teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and large information and accounting systems.
• Report writing experience is preferred.
