About this Job:
Anthesis’ due diligence team is seeking highly motivated graduates to join our team of investigative due diligence researchers. We are focused on Governance, investigating issues such as corruption, the corporate-political nexus and integrity, across the globe. The successful candidates will have completed (or will be studying towards) a qualitative research degree – in history, politics, languages or other similar fields – and be fluent in at least one foreign language.
We are interested in candidates with fluency in a variety of languages, particularly Arabic, German, Russian, Mandarin, Turkish, Spanish and Portuguese.
Start date: July 2025 onwards
Who We Are:
The due diligence team at Anthesis Group provides leading global intelligence and compliance risk services, and specialises in enhanced due diligence investigations. Our team’s regional and sectoral expertise help the world’s foremost organisations make informed, ethical decisions about the professionals and businesses they work with, the assets they acquire, and where and how they operate.
Anthesis Group is a global sustainability and ESG company. We provide a wide suite of sustainability solutions to clients across the world. Anthesis is a certified B-Corp – reflecting the company’s commitment to sustainability and employee-friendly policies – and the company has an employee shareholder scheme, allowing Anthesis employees to share in the company’s success.
The Role:
Analysts begin their career within the team specialising in open source due diligence work. These reports provide an overview of major compliance red flags associated with a target company or individual, such as corruption, political exposure, and sanctions. Typically, analysts will work on reports from multiple jurisdictions, before progressing on to region-specific reports based on language and regional expertise: our aim is to train confident due diligence researchers able to navigate complicated, cross-border issues. Analysts might spend their morning researching a high-profile legal dispute in the US, before turning their attention to unravelling an obscure offshore corporate structure in the afternoon.
Once fully trained, analysts will expand the scope of their work – taking on more complicated projects in conjunction with senior staff; developing regional expertise in regulatory and compliance risks; training new members of staff; and taking on business development responsibilities. For exceptional candidates, our analyst role lays the foundations for career progression at Anthesis.
Why Apply to Anthesis:
