Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Rota Co-ordinator for Anaesthetics to manage rotas across multiple sites, based at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital with cross-site work at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.

You will handle day-to-day rota management, leave requests, and staff coordination to ensure safe, efficient medical staffing. The role requires independent working and strong collaborative skills within the Anaesthetic team.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing complex rotas.
• Experience in medical education, HR or operational administration.
• Proficiency with computer systems and NHS policies.
• Ability to manage own workload and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management and maintenance of rotas using rostering systems.
• Coordinate leave requests and support training/educational requirements.
• Respond to short-notice staffing changes to minimise disruption to patient care.
• Collaborate with other rota co-ordinators for cross-cover during annual leave or absence.
• Develop relationships with clinical, managerial, nursing and admin colleagues to support staffing services.
