Job Opportunity: Theatre Anaesthetic Practitioner

We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our ophthalmology theatres. The ideal candidate must be a registered ODP or nurse with anaesthetic qualification and possess excellent communication skills, as daily interaction with multi-professional colleagues is essential. Exceptional personal and organizational qualities are crucial, along with the ability to supervise and coach staff. A commitment to delivering the highest standards of patient care and service is expected.

Main Duties of the Job
  1. Plan, deliver, and evaluate peri-operative care as part of a multidisciplinary theatre team, contributing to department effectiveness.
  2. Undertake clinical responsibility for the designated area.
  3. Ensure skilled assistance is provided to the anesthetist, following College of Anesthetists’ guidelines.
  4. Provide high-quality, individualized care to patients, clients, and relatives.
  5. Uphold and enhance the reputation of the Trust through professional conduct.
