Job overview

We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to work in our ophthalmology theatres. You must be a registered ODP or nurse with anaesthetic qualification and possess excellent communication skills, as you will frequently interact with multi-professional colleagues. Strong personal and organisational qualities are essential, along with the ability to supervise and coach staff, and a focus on delivering the highest standards of care and service to our patients.

Main duties of the job

As part of a multidisciplinary theatre team, you will plan, deliver, and evaluate peri-operative care to patients, contributing to the department’s effectiveness.
The anesthetic practitioner will hold clinical ongoing responsibility for their designated area.
• Ensure skilled assistance is provided to the anesthetist, following College of Anesthetists’ guidelines.
• Provide high-quality, individualized care to patients, clients, and relatives.
• Uphold and enhance the trust’s standards and reputation.
