Job summary

Gen II (UK) Southampton is seeking a diligent AML/KYC professional to join its Institutional business. The role focuses on periodic reviews, data integrity, and ensuring regulatory obligations are met across multi-jurisdictional clients and investors.

You will conduct statutory reviews based on risk, validate source of funds data, manage CDD/KYC documentation, and collaborate with client teams to resolve data gaps.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting institutional AML/KYC reviews.
• Familiar with CDD/EDD and regulatory obligations.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct statutory periodic reviews on institutional clients & investors based on their risk profile.
• Focus on Financial Crime and AML aspects of client reviews.
• Perform and review risk assessments on institutional clients & investors.
• Review client profiles to ensure up-to-date accuracy reflecting activity.
• Review and validate source of funds & wealth with documentation.
• Maintain CDD/KYC documentation and obtain missing items from clients.
• Ongoing screening of clients/investors and review hits.
• Data management of static client data to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate with clients to obtain additional documentation.
• Support high-risk reviews and ensure regulatory standards are met.
• Sign off on periodic review workflows with complete checklists.
• Mentor junior team members and participate in training.
• Work with Compliance to obtain necessary approvals for high-risk business and PEPs.
