Zusammenfassung

Checkout.com is seeking a Periodic Review Due Diligence Specialist in Mexico City to conduct AML periodic reviews and event-driven reviews of merchants. You will evaluate ownership structures, business activity and documentation to keep profiles accurate and compliant, escalating where needed.

You will support ongoing monitoring by assessing risk ratings and due diligence levels, and engage in case management with stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate decisions.

Qualifikationen

• 1-2 years' relevant experience in AML/KYC or related area.
• Strong understanding of AML, KYC, KYB, CDD and EDD principles.
• Ability to review corporate documents and ownership structures.
• Analytical mindset with attention to discrepancies and red flags.
• Ability to make evidence-based decisions in line with policy.
• Clear written communication for case notes and escalations.
• Good stakeholder management and follow-up discipline.
• Ability to manage workload across multiple live cases.

Aufgaben

• Conduct end-to-end AML periodic reviews and event-driven reviews of merchants.
• Review ownership structures, business activity and supporting documentation.
• Assess risk rating and due diligence level based on current information.
• Manage review cases from assignment through closure in internal systems.
• Raise RFIs and engage merchants or internal stakeholders for clarifications.
• Perform enhanced due diligence for higher-risk merchants as needed.
• Escalate cases for secondary review when required.
• Maintain audit-ready case commentary and evidencing.
