Role purpose
The Amenities & Business Development Project Manager will work with the Global Head of Amenities & Business Development to assist in the expansion of Aesop's Wholesale business, with a specific focus on Amenity partnerships.
Project management will be at the core of this role, working cross-functionally to support Aesop's growth in terms of brand engagement, trial and recruitment, along with revenue generation with a particular focus on global strategic amenity partnerships.
Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the Global Head of Amenities & BD to develop the strategy for amenity partnerships (hotels, restaurants, galleries etc.) which all Zones will use to drive growth in the channel, in line with Global ambitions.
- Support with the onboarding and management of global amenity partners (i.e. hotel chains).
- Help refine aligned partner selection criteria and approval processes.
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Regulatory, and Marketing, supporting and driving key amenity projects.
- Analyse data, track business performance, assist in reporting, identifying issues and opportunities.
- Work as a central conduit for Global Wholesale data management - analysing sales data and working with Global Head to drive strategy.
- Collate the requests of each Zone shared in team meetings and support the Head of Amenities & BD to bring all Zones closer together, in the spirit of closer collaboration, sharing knowledge, learnings and insights to drive sustainable growth.
- Actively communicate the needs of the amenity & BD channels, internally, influencing to ensure those needs are met.
- Support with the development of a corporate gifting global strategy (i.e. B2B Corporate partnerships outside hotels/restaurants).
- Follow and drive monthly forecasting cycles for the channels, coordinate with the regional teams to deliver financial commitments and ensure smooth operational processes.
- Identify and understand potential new revenue streams and customers, presenting opportunities internally and building the case for expanding distribution, where appropriate.

- Project Management experience.
- Account management skills and an ability to demonstrate success in driving growth through building relationships and influencing.
- Experience of working in a matrix organization across multiple geographies - An international mindset and desire to work within a global team.
- Knowledge of the hospitality industry with a deep understanding of trends, connected to on-trend communities and neighbourhoods.
- Strong Microsoft skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
- Deep appreciation of the Aesop brand and culture.
