Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is hiring an Airport Passenger Assistant to safely transfer passengers to and from the terminal, assist with luggage, and support boarding checks.

This role requires a valid UK driving license, right to work in the UK & ROI, and a willingness to operate on a 4x12 hour shift pattern. Prior airport driving experience is desirable, and a customer-focused approach is essential.

• Must pass pre-employment screening including references.
• Valid UK Driving Licence held at least 3 years.
• Able to communicate clearly with passengers and colleagues at all levels.
• Airport driving experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely transfer passengers and traveling companions to and from the terminal.
• Provide assistance with passenger baggage as required.
• Complete boarding checks in line with airline requirements.
• Ensure vehicle checks are completed and recorded prior to use.
• Ensure all seat belts are fastened for passengers and drivers.

About The Role:

Days of Working:

4 twelve hour shifts per week - Days & shifts start times will vary to meet operational demand

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Safely transfer passengers and travelling companions to and from the terminal and aircraft
• Provide physical assistance by lifting passengers into and out of aircraft seats using aids as appropriate
• Assist with passenger’s baggage as required.
• Ensure boarding checks are completed in line with airline requirements
• Ensure vehicle checks are completed and recorded prior to usage
• Actively checks that all seat belts are worn by all passengers and drivers

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Must have Right to Work in the UK & ROI
• You will be required to pass pre-employment screening, including 5 years of employee reference checking
• Valid UK Drivers Licence held for a minimum of 3 years
• Ability to communicate with people and colleagues at all levels
• Previous experience within driving with an airport is desirable
