Job summary

East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking Ambulance Care Assistants for the Dunstable area. Candidates will undergo a three-week training course, with initial weeks in Welwyn Garden City, and must hold a full UK manual car licence with limited SP30 points.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for people with proven customer care and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a two-person team or solo.
• Full UK manual car driving licence with at least 1 year driving experience and a maximum of 6 points for SP30 offences.

Responsibilities

• Transport non-urgent patients to and from health/social care premises and private residences.
• Work in a team of two or on your own across various vehicle types.
• Attend a 3-week paid training course (Mon-Fri) as part of Driver Training.
