UK Event Medical Services (UKEMS) is seeking Qualified Ambulance Care Assistants to join the Patient Transport Team based in Sheffield. The role offers a typical 40-hour week with a zero-hours contract at start, requiring weekend and holiday availability, and includes training and development in Ambulance Care qualifications.

Our ACA's come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Whilst many offer a background in care others have previously worked in retail, entertainment customer service orhospitality. Previous work experience may differ however, each ACA offers empathy and kindness, a positive, flexible and adaptable attitude, a strong work ethic together with the ability to work as part of team. Your clear and confident verbal communication together with effective listening skills contribute to instilling confidence in patients using our services.
