Job summary

Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner role at Sunderland Talking Therapies within Sunderland Counselling Service. This full time post (37.5 hours per week) is for a qualified PWP with accreditation or a Trainee PWP nearing completion and registration.

The post holder will work with diverse clients, use interpreters when needed, and uphold equal opportunities. Key duties include triage assessments, delivering low intensity interventions (guided self-help, telephone/online/face-to-face

Qualifications

• Qualified PWP with BABCP/BPS registration or eligible to apply.
• Completed IAPT Low Intensity National Programme.
• Trainee PWP nearing end of training with band 4/5 progression details.
• Registration with BABCP/BPS or eligible to apply on posting.

Responsibilities

• Undertake triage screening assessments and onward referrals.
• Provide low intensity interventions (guided self-help, CBT, psycho-educational courses).
• Mentor trainee PWPs and work with the team.
• Liaise with external agencies to promote Sunderland Talking Therapies.
• Work with interpreters where necessary and engage with diverse populations.
