Job summary

Lift Winton is seeking a qualified maths teacher to join a growing department of eight. You will help deliver an ambitious curriculum and drive GCSE outcomes toward the target of 4+ in English and Maths, while supporting a culture of high support and expectations.

Joining a new Head and Deputy, you will contribute to curriculum development and department improvement, with opportunities for strong CPD and a collaborative working environment within Lift Schools.

Qualifications

• Qualified maths teacher with proven track record of improving results.
• Approachable but accountable, capable of raising standards across the department.
• Ambitious for students, staff and departmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach maths to GCSE students with focus on progress and attainment.
• Raise and maintain the highest standards of progress, attainment, teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with Head/Deputy Head to implement ambitious curriculum and assessment.
• Contribute to school-wide improvement initiatives as part of the 490 strategy.
