DOT Partners is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant to join its growing Accounts team in the Stoke-on-Trent area. You will build experience across accounts, tax and cloud accounting while working with Seniors and Managers. Hybrid working and study support are offered to help you progress.

The role focuses on ownership of client work, including statutory accounts, tax computations, VAT, and bookkeeping, with opportunities to advance towards Senior Accountant as you develop.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• Studying towards ACA/ACCA, or have completed AAT.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts.
• Some exposure to corporation tax.
• Experience working with owner-managed businesses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for various entity types.
• Prepare corporation tax computations.
• Assist with personal tax returns when required.
• Produce management accounts and VAT returns.
• Complete bookkeeping assignments and client queries.
• Support cloud accounting platforms like Xero/QuickBooks.
• Develop client relationships and work with seniors/managers.
