Press Brake Operator/Setter

• £14ph dependant on experience + Overtime
• Temp - Perm
• Monday to Thursday 07:40 to 16:30/ Friday is 07:40 to 12:20

The Job

• Join as a Press Brake Operator/Setter
• Measuring and aligning work pieces using straight edges, clamps and callipers.
• Oversee the set up and operation of Amada Press Brakes
• Carry out bending according to set dimensions and to meet requirements
• Read and interpret production drawings
• Always maintain safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a risk free environment
• Undertake other metal fabrication duties as required

About You

• The ability to read drawings
• Proven experience operating and setting press brakes (AMADA)
• Must be experienced in general engineering
• Experience with guillotines and general fabrication equipment
• Must be able to work under pressure with excellent organisation skills
• Must have excellent communication and be able to problem solve
• Must have maths and measuring skills
