Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a AM Shift Supervisor to join us at our Warrington Hub. We’re always on the lookout for top talent to join our growing business. We work hard, make quick decisions, and deliver to our ambitious goals every day.

Our supervisors work on shifts; this role is to work on our AM Shift, which is typically 06:00-14:00, working any 5 days in 7.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Supervising Warehouse Operatives and managing operations in your zone, including throughput, parcel presentation, productivity, and achieving forecasted CPU against targets.
• Supporting the Process Manager with sortation quality and MI performance.
• Managing and controlling Client SLA’s, load presentation, infeed targets, blockbuster targets, parcel presentation, mis-sorts, damages, and scanning compliance.
• Conducting coaching, 121s, performance reviews, and team meetings.
• Maintaining reporting documentation and manifests.
• Ensuring H&S, hygiene, and quality audits, including risk assessments and safe systems of work.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in logistics or distribution, ideally managing a team.
• Ability to work at pace and meet challenging targets.
• Ability to influence using data and interpersonal skills.
